Field Trips

During the course of the year, a class or several classes together may take a trip outside of the school to enrich their learning and social experiences. All field trips are announced ahead of time and parental permission, in writing or through the permit slip/waiver form must be given beforehand for a child to participate in the activity. Permission slips handed in on the day of the scheduled trip will not be considered unless the child had been absent from class up to the day before the activity. No reply slip means the child will not be part of the activity.

Field trips may involve additional fees for transportation, parking, entrance and meals. Parents may be asked to volunteer as chaperones or to volunteer their vehicles to transport their children.
